Kevin has years of experience in the defense, government, and technology sectors. He has worked in various software engineering, cybersecurity, information technology, and research roles for companies and government agencies, ranging from startups to large multinational corporations such as General Dynamics Mission Systems, Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Symantec, and ServiceNow.
He is currently the Chairman of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Commission for the City of Milpitas, a commissioner role he has held for three years.
As a First Lieutenant in the Civil Air Patrol (U.S. Air Force Auxiliary), he has been active for over two years and continues to serve as an aircrew member, flying on air search and rescue (SAR) and military support missions assigned by the Air Force.
He is a Commissioner for the County of Santa Clara, a position he has held for over one year. In this capacity, he is responsible for maintaining a mutually beneficial political, economic, and cultural relationship between Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley) and Hsinchu County (Taiwan's Silicon Valley).
Additionally, he is a key partner for various government agencies, including the Northern California Regional Intelligence Center (NCRIC), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Fusion Center Association (NFCA), and the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC).
Finally, he serves as a 20-Year Term Appointed Board Member for the Selective Service System (SSS), an independent federal agency that provides the Department of Defense with personnel in the event of a national emergency, a role he has held for over seven years.
